Following testing at the Pacific Institute of Sports Excellence on November 30th, join our Medical Director and Head Cardiologist for the IOC at the 2010 Olympic Games, Dr. Saul Isserow for an educational session on sudden cardiac death, aetiology of cardiovascular disease in the young athlete, risk factors and warning signs and prevention.
Dr. Isserow will be providing a lecture to UBC Varsity coaching and medical staff on prevention of sudden cardiac death in the athlete as well as the difference in aetiology for SCD in the young vs. the Masters (>35) athlete.
